It seems that prosecutors in Romania have filed formal charges against Andrew Tate, his brother Tristan, and two Romanian associates. The charges include serious offenses such as rape, human trafficking, forming an organized crime group, illegally accessing a computer system, and violence against one of the alleged victims. According to the indictment, these individuals are accused of forming an organized criminal group at the beginning of 2021 with the intention of committing human trafficking, not only in Romania but also in other countries, including the United States and Britain.

The case has been under investigation for six months, during which time the four defendants have been in detention or under house arrest. The charges are extensive, including allegations of recruiting seven victims through false promises of love and marriage. The charge of human trafficking appears to be the main umbrella charge, with several counts against each of the four defendants.

The organized crime unit in Romania has also mentioned the seizure of assets, including properties, cars, luxury watches, and more than 300 million US dollars in cryptocurrency. Additionally, there are other charges still under investigation, such as money laundering, influencing statements, and trafficking of minors, which may lead to separate indictments in the future.
